Job Title

Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS:

• 3rd Shift: $2.25/hour
• Weekend: $1.75/hour

SIGN-ON BONUS ELIGIBLE!

• $2,000 Sign On Bonus with a 1-year work commitment.
• Must be of legal age to sign a contract, which is at least 18 years old, to be eligible for a sign on bonus. Candidates under 18 years old may still be considered for the position but are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.

Overview

UNIT OVERVIEW: Welcome to Acute Care G200! G200 is a general med/surg unit that cares for acutely ill adult patients with a few surgical patients. Our patient care experience includes, but is not limited to, patients with hypertension/high blood pressure, pneumonia, chest pain, UTI's, COVID, and infections that require IV antibiotics. Our unit thrives on Teamwork and serving with the greatest care and love.

Position Summary

The Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant
• CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED Experience
• Six months experience in a clinical healthcare environment
• Six months experience in supporting physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of patients
