Sonographer PositionJoin the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Sonographer!As a Sonographer at MercyOne, you will:Perform Ultrasound exams including OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, small parts, and other related Ultrasound procedures as necessary on scheduled or emergent basis and maintains related recordsProvide general assistance to the radiologist in interpreting studies; provides technical instruction to students and hospital staffSchedule:Weekend DaysWork 2 12-hour shifts (24 hours) and get paid 36.General Requirements:Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with one of the following:Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer (RMSKS)If not registered, be board-eligible and become registered with ARDMS within one year of hire.Maintains active registry status with ARDMS (30 CME's every 3 yrs/annual payment)Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within six (6) months of hire and every three (3) years thereafter.Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire and every two (2) years thereafter.Colleagues of MercyOne Health System enjoy competitive compensation with a full benefits package and opportunity for growth throughout the system!Visit MercyOne Careers to learn more about the benefits, culture, and career development opportunities available to you at MercyOne Health System circle of care.Our CommitmentRooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
