Job Title: Level 2 RN - Client Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neuromusculoskeletal Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Rotating shifts Hours per Shift: 12.0 Experience: Two (2) years required License: RN License (New York only) Certifications: BLS, NIHSS certification Must-Have: - Telemetry experience required - RN license (New York only) - BLS certification (American Heart Association only) - NIHSS certification - Two (2) years of experience Description: An exciting opportunity awaits as you start your career on a specialized neurological unit. This is an excellent unit to learn about various neurological diseases while utilizing your nursing and critical thinking skills. Work with our interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment caring for patients with stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain Barre Syndrome, and more. Being a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and the only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in the region, we see many acute and complex patients. As a Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, we work with a specialty team to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizures using state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team that values nurses' skills, talents, and compassion for our patient population.
