This travel position offers a dynamic work environment in a Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) with a team dedicated to high-quality patient care. The role is essential for maintaining effective triage and emergency care.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED

• Perform strong ED clinical judgment and critical thinking with effective TRIAGE skills
• Rapid assessment, prioritization, and intervention in a high-acuity, low-resource ED setting
• Deliver ED nursing care across all TRIAGE levels and manage airway and intubation support
• Provide splinting, immobilization, and moderate sedation monitoring and recovery
• Assist in wound care, laceration repair, cardiac monitoring, and code response
• Collaborate effectively within a small, high-functioning team

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in team settings
• Experience with Meditech EMR system is preferable
