Home Health Aides

Job Description

Home Health Aides provide essential daily living assistance and compassionate care to elderly clients in their homes. Working independently, they support patients with personal hygiene, meal preparation, emotional needs, and light household tasks, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. Occasional travel between client homes is required, and aides utilize both paper-based and electronic health record systems for documentation.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming
Prepare and serve meals tailored to dietary needs
Provide emotional support and companionship
Complete household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
Travel occasionally between multiple client homes
Maintain accurate documentation using paper and electronic health records

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
Experience with patient care and physical mobility support
Strong communication and time management skills
Empathy and patience when working with elderly clients
