Physical Therapist -Shelbourne Knee Center

Responsibilities Interpret results of initial evaluations and determine appropriate patient goals. Develop and modify treatment plans as needed, using appropriate techniques. Participate in teaching opportunities or clinical education of students. Engage in interdisciplinary planning with doctors, surgeons, and PAs. Maintain a safe environment conducive to effective teamwork, positive patient outcomes, and personal safety. Work in a knee‑only specialty clinic: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are dedicated to PT visits; Tuesday and Thursday are dedicated primarily to new patients as a scribe/physician extender. No productivity numbers to hit and no mandatory units per patient. Contribute to research activities such as data collection, writing, or analysis. Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program. Valid Indiana Physical Therapy license or temporary permit. Experience or eligibility as a new graduate Physical Therapist. Extensive knowledge of anatomy/physiology, evaluation and therapy, theoretical concepts and techniques, current materials and technological advances, and new professional trends. Effective communication with staff, peers, patients, families, physicians, and all internal/external customers. Ability to incorporate a basic understanding of behavioral, developmental, physical, emotional, and comfort needs for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
