Holiday Inn Express - Kitty Hawk, NC - Night Auditor

Front Desk Night Auditor: $19.00 per hour Part‑Time – 11pm to 7am Shift. Position available year‑round at Holiday Inn Express (Kitty Hawk, NC). Overview The Front Desk Night Auditor is responsible for reconciling all hotel transactions, reviewing, organizing, and compiling management reports on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions. The auditor also communicates concerns and/or issues to all levels of management and performs guest service duties (check‑in, check‑out, telephone operation, reservations) as required. Responsibilities Oversee the guest experience during the overnight shift and assist with guest resolution/service recovery as needed. Audit, balance, post and report on the front desk, including room charges, folios, corrections, adjustments, taxes, disputed charges, over‑short figures, deposits, etc., ensuring accuracy and proper cash handling procedures. Audit, balance, and prepare room information to provide management with performance data. Prepare and input statistics and income journal sheets for daily reports. Balance and close all bank ticket codes daily. Run the night audit final after ensuring all revenues are in balance nightly. Perform front desk duties: guest check‑in and check‑out, assist guests, provide general information on hotel and nearby attractions. Previous cash‑handling experience. Self‑motivator with passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Required Characteristics Strictly an overnight position; must work 11:00pm–7:00am. Professional appearance and courteous, attentive customer service at all times. Maintains neat, clean, well‑groomed appearance. Regular attendance in accordance with company standards.
