About the role:

Onsite Neonatal at Mercy Fort Smith in Fort Smith, AR, provides 24/7 in-house coverage with no on-call commitment. In partnership with hospitals, our neonatology programs are grounded in evidence-based medicine and are built for safety, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Unit facts:

Level III NICU
2,700 deliveries
24-hour shifts, in-house

For almost three decades, Onsite Neonatal has been the premier provider of NICU, SCN, and well newborn care. We build long-term, collaborative relationships with local obstetricians, pediatricians, and hospital teams to ensure the best outcomes for every patient. Our 24/7 in-house model allows for an immediate response to every newborn in need.

Located in northwest Arkansas and close to the Oklahoma border, Fort Smith is one of the largest cities in Arkansas. The City is known for having been a significant factor in settling the wild west. The City has a regional airport making travel convenient. Fort Smith has many attractions that draw people to their City, including festivals, symphonies, theatres, museums, an air show, and one of the most prominent rodeos in the country. The City has many great neighborhoods to live in, some including Fianna Hills, Cavanaugh, and Oak Park. In addition to great communities, the City offers many public and private school options. Fort Smith is also home to many colleges, including the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.
