Your Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting an array of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensuring the comfort and safety of patients during examinations by clearly explaining each procedure with empathy and reassurance
• Working closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic imagery
• Operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment while promptly reporting any issues
• Accurately documenting procedures and managing patient records through our electronic medical system
• Staying informed on advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices to enhance patient care

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• A completed CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
