About the Role:

The Agile Delivery Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by fostering agile methodologies and practices across teams. This position is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within scope, while continuously improving processes to enhance efficiency and collaboration. The Agile Delivery Manager acts as a servant leader, removing impediments and facilitating communication between stakeholders, product owners, and development teams. By championing agile principles, this role drives organizational agility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, the Agile Delivery Manager ensures that project goals align with business objectives, delivering value to customers and stakeholders consistently.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in agile project management or delivery management roles.
• Proven experience leading agile teams and facilitating agile ceremonies.
• Strong understanding of agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or equivalent agile certification.
• Experience working in a scaled agile environment or with multiple agile teams simultaneously.
• Background in software development or IT project delivery.
• Familiarity with agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience driving organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coach multiple agile teams to adopt and improve agile practices and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews to ensure effective team collaboration and delivery.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize backlogs and define clear project goals and deliverables.
• Identify and remove obstacles that impede team progress and escalate issues when necessary to maintain project momentum.
• Track and report on project metrics, progress, and risks to senior management and stakeholders to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.

Communication skills are essential for bridging gaps between technical teams and business stakeholders, enabling clear understanding of project goals and expectations. Problem-solving abilities are applied to identify and remove impediments that could delay delivery, maintaining steady progress. Knowledge of agile frameworks allows the manager to tailor practices to team needs and organizational context, fostering continuous improvement. Additionally, proficiency with agile tools supports tracking progress, managing backlogs, and reporting metrics to keep all parties informed and engaged.
