Mammographer

JOB SUMMARY The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic mammography examinations and assisting physicians in the diagnosis of breast disease. Key Responsibilities Perform mammography procedures according to established protocols and guidelines. Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations. Operate mammography equipment accurately and efficiently. Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Adhere to radiation safety standards. Participate in quality assurance activities. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Mammography. Certifications ARRT (Mammography) Skills Proficient in performing mammography examinations. Knowledge of breast anatomy and pathology. Familiarity with mammography equipment and technology. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and accuracy.
