Director of Supply Chain - Fleet Operations

Position Summary
The Director of Supply Chain - Fleet Operations is responsible for leading all transportation, fleet, logistics, inventory, and distribution activities for a growing organization operating in a highly regulated environment. This individual will oversee fleet performance, transportation strategy, regulatory compliance, driver and carrier management, inventory movement, and logistics operations while ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant transportation of hazardous materials.
The ideal candidate is an experienced transportation and logistics leader with a strong background in fleet management, hazardous materials transportation, regulatory compliance, route optimization, and supply chain execution. This individual will partner closely with Operations, Safety, Procurement, Finance, and Customer Service teams to deliver exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.

- tLead all fleet transportation operations, including vehicle utilization, route planning, dispatch, maintenance coordination, and driver performance management
- .Develop and execute transportation strategies that optimize service levels, safety, productivity, and operating costs
- .Monitor fleet performance through key metrics including on-time delivery, vehicle utilization, driver productivity, fuel consumption, safety performance, and cost per mile
- .Evaluate and implement transportation technologies, telematics systems, and fleet management tools
- .Oversee transportation capacity planning and contingency planning to support business growth and operational continuity
