Rock Yard CDL DriversOur Plant and Rock Yard CDL Drivers are integral part of our Customer Service Delivery to Residential & Business customers. Our drivers deliver plant material, rock & soil material to neighborhoods, construction sites, & commercial businesses. Safe driving & Safe Loading/Unloading is essential. Product delivery is the final step in a happy customer experience, and our Nursery (CDL) drivers do that for us.This safety sensitive position must take pride in providing quality customer service. Make deliveries in a safe and timely manner.Responsibilities:Follows operations standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time serviceFollows policies in the areas of operations techniques, materials usagePerforms other related duties as assignedLoading and unloading rock/Soil materialFollowing the rules of the road / Star Nursery's PoliciesDelivering Decorative rock and soil AmendmentsRequirements & Skills:Ability to climb up and down from the trucksAbility to correctly tarp or adjust tarp on the truck/tub if neededPlanning: an ability to think ahead and plan in short- and long-term rangesThe ability to organize and manage multiple prioritiesProblem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional levelStrong ability to interact in a positive mannerStrong team playerCommitment to company valuesReliable personal transportationAbility to follow directions as well as work independently to achieve goals and complete assigned tasksAbility to work outdoors in all types of weatherSuggested Minimum 1 year of CDL experienceQualifications:Class A or B licenseMust provide a clean DMV record (3 year).Clean BackgroundProvide us with DOT required Documents.Effective and relevant work experience in dump truck deliveriesHonest and hard workingMust be able to work long hours (seasonal overtime available) in all types of weather conditionsUS work authorizationPhysical Demands: Daily activities include: Sitting, Walking, Standing, Bending, Squatting, Kneeling, Simple grasping with hand, Pushing & Pulling, Lifting 0-60 lbs.
