Overview Hillcrest HCC invites you to join their team as a Speech/Language Pathologist (PRN/Per Diem) in Hawarden, IA. Flexible scheduling is available for full‑time or part‑time coverage, with options for set schedules during vacation coverages. Responsibilities Effectively screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders and develop appropriate plans of care following regulatory and clinical practice standards. Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions for patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements. Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness. Modify services based on evaluation and refer as needed. Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders. Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided per regulatory requirements. Document all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records according to company policy. Qualifications Licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist. Position open to SLPs at all experience levels; new graduates welcome. Competitive pay rates based on experience and other factors.
