Join Our Team as a Quoting & Estimating Specialist!

Do you have a background in CNC machining? Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service? Do you enjoy solving problems, working with customers, and helping drive business growth? If so, we'd love to meet you!

C&M Precision Tech is looking for an Estimator to join our sales team. In this role, you'll work closely with our Inside and Outside Sales teams to prepare accurate, competitive quotes, build strong customer relationships, and help secure new business. Your ability to analyze customer requirements, coordinate with multiple departments, and provide exceptional support will play a key role in our continued success.

What You'll Do

• Prepare accurate and competitive quotes that position our company to win new business.
• Review customer specifications to ensure technical compatibility and pricing accuracy.
• Match customer requirements with supplier capabilities and material options.
• Monitor market conditions and bid strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.
• Review plans and specifications and prepare detailed proposals.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely follow-up on quotes and proposals.
• Build strong relationships with customers and support the Outside Sales team through proactive communication.
• Assist in resolving customer questions, concerns, and service issues.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Serve as the primary account contact when a salesperson is not assigned or when direct support is needed.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through technology and continuous improvement.
• Complete special projects and additional responsibilities assigned by Sales Management.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in quoting/estimating in a machining environment required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Comfortable working with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other business software.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
