Process Engineer

Responsibilities Brasfield & Gorrie, a recognized leader in the construction industry, has an exciting opportunity available for a Process Engineer - Industrial (Atlanta, GA Nashville, TN or Birmingham, AL) The Process Engineer will encourage a culture focused on effective project delivery by supporting our clients, project teams and company in our efforts to provide facilitation and coordination of the client’s equipment and process. Responsibilities and Essential Duties Leads project teams including owner, design team, and trade partners with an integrated approach to achieving scope, schedule and budget alignment Responsible for establishing an integrated team experience through role clarity, effective communication strategy, and facilitating a culture that fosters collaboration Facilitate and collaborate with internal departments and project teams Facilitate cross-functional collaboration during design, construction, commissioning, and start-up Facilitate design/engineering and decision planning with the construction team, design team, and owner Manage, mentor and guide design team members and preconstruction team members to ensure clear direction and execution Manage, mentor and guide design assist trade partners to ensure effective integration with the project team Work with project teams to develop conceptual process design/engineering solutions for industrial pursuits Review design team’s specifications, drawings, and P&IDs Ensure design meets owner’s needs, quality, and program Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience Education/Qualifications/Experience/Skills: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or other equivalent field Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience 4+ years experience in group facilitation and implementing collaborative delivery is preferred Specific experience in industrial management design Specific experience in process layout, process design, cleanroom, food and beverage, packaging is preferred Strong CAD, Plant 3D, Navisworks, and Revit capability preferred Ability and willingness to travel.
