Bus Driver

Description
Bus Drivers are an integral part of our community. Our drivers are committed to safety, customer service and have genuine, caring attitudes for our students. We offer wages and we pay for your training and your time to train and take the necessary testing. Excellent training leading to a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Optional hours on nights and weekends.

Pay: $25.89 to $30.21 per hour based on experience

Trips are paid at the driver rate plus a stipend for idle time.


Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers
• Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections
• Assist students in the loading and unloading process

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with students of all ages.
• Basic computer literacy is required.
• Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Must have excellent driving record.
• CDL required, but will train, if necessary.
• Organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with others in a positive, productive way.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and the community while projecting a positive image that enhances the school.
• Ability to follow and interpret oral and written directions.
• Be subject to a background check, drug screen and physical
