In addition to our healthcare services, we offer comprehensive behavioral health services on the hospital campus and Bayview campus in Chula Vista. Services include psychiatric continuum of care for adult patients, inpatient services, and intensive outpatient services.ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. He/She communicates with physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.QualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING1. Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California, required. 2. BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current, required. 3. NHISS (Stroke Scale) Certification within 60 days of hire and maintain current, required. 4. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.Pay TransparencyParadise Valley Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $48.24 to $66.50.
