LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is accountable for providing high-quality patient care by employing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role necessitates strong critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership qualities to ensure safe delivery of care. The Registered Nurse must maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education, effectively delegate patient care tasks based on staff expertise, and supervise personnel involved in patient care activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an LTAC/Telemetry setting.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and respond to patient needs.
• Plan and deliver safe, effective patient care adhering to hospital policies.
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel in delivering patient care.
• Maintain ongoing clinical education to sustain competencies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two to five years of Nursing experience is required.
• Current Missouri RN license or multi-state RN license must be attached to the resume.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (must be through the American Heart Association).

Schedule

This position operates on a night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
