We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our team and make a meaningful impact on our students' lives. As a School-Based Occupational Therapist at ProCare Therapy, you will play a key role in helping students develop the skills they need to participate fully in their educational experience. You will work closely with students, teachers, and families to create and implement individualized therapy plans that address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills. Onsite 24-25 School Year Full-Time, 35+ hours a week School Experience a plus! More details provided upon interview! Responsibilities Conduct assessments to evaluate students' occupational performance, including fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals tailored to each students needs. Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings within the school environment. Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom and daily routines. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to provide progress updates and recommendations for home-based support. Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions, student progress, and treatment plans. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reporting. Stay current with best practices, educational standards, and developments in occupational therapy. Qualifications Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred. Experience working with children in a school setting or with school-aged children is a plus. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Passion for helping students achieve their fullest potential. Why Join Us?
