In this role, you will prepare comprehensive narrative appraisal reports, build sophisticated income approach models, and deliver high-quality valuation services across a broad range of commercial property types.Working closely with experienced onshore leaders, you will deepen your technical expertise, expand your client engagement, and advance toward the Certified General Real Property Appraiser credential. This is a meaningful opportunity to grow your career as a foundational contributor within a dynamic, expanding practice at a top-ranked national CPA and advisory firmWhat You'll Gain/ ImpactDirect mentorship and collaboration with experienced onshore valuation professionalsExposure to complex, high-impact commercial valuation engagements across diverse property typesA structured path toward the Certified General Real Property Appraiser credential, with firm supportCross-functional experience working alongside client engagement teams and advisory service groups across AprioThe opportunity to be an early and influential contributor within a growing, specialized practiceKey ResponsibilitiesAnalysis and ReportingPrepare full narrative appraisal reports on commercial properties with limited supervisionBuild income approach models, including direct capitalization and discounted cash flow (DCF) analysesAnalyze leases, rent rolls, operating statements, and development budgetsDraft highest and best use, market, and neighborhood analysesDevelop financial models supporting valuation, strategic planning, and transaction purposesResearch and InspectionsConduct property inspections and research rent, sale, expense, and capitalization rate dataConfirm comparable data with brokers, owners, and public recordsClient and Engagement SupportAssist engagement managers in the execution of valuation engagementsCoordinate with clients and property contacts to gather documentation and schedule inspectionsServe as a contributing member of cross-functional client engagement teamsMaintain positive, productive, and professional relationships with clients and colleaguesStay current on business and economic developments relevant to clients' industries and marketsTeam Collaboration and DevelopmentMentor and support Associates by reviewing their research and data workDemonstrate teamwork and shared accountability with engagement team membersMaintain an accurate appraisal experience log in coordination with your supervisory appraiserCandidate QualificationsRequiredThree to five years of commercial real estate valuation experienceDemonstrated ability to draft full narrative appraisal reports across multiple commercial property typesActive appraiser credential (Trainee, Licensed, or Certified) in good standing in at least one U.S. stateBachelor's degree in real estate, finance, economics, accounting, or a related fieldAdvanced Excel skillsClear, organized writing with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlinesComfort engaging with clients, brokers, and property managersValid driver's license and ability to travel for property inspectionsPreferredCertified General Real Property Appraiser credential already heldEnrollment as an Appraisal Institute Candidate for DesignationArgus Enterprise experience$90,000 - $125,000 a yearThe salary range for this opportunity is stated above.
