Assistant Project Manager

Job Description What You Will Do: Support in the estimate and finalization of budgets and contract price Negotiate, close and manage cost-effective subcontract and material purchases Developing, tracking, and maintaining project schedules; Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods and ensure progress aligns with those methods and timing; Reviewing critical path, and quickly adapting or accelerating projects to meet deadlines; Reporting, and updating stakeholders of project schedule; Complete required tendering process and oversee contract administrator; Assist in the overall planning and defining of project scope for all subcontractors, and employees; Project resource allocation and relationship management of assigned internal and external resources; Regular project documentation, communication and reporting; Cost estimating, and budget development in collaboration with stakeholders; Effective identification and management of Engineering controls to ensure optimization and efficiency; Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans if required ; Ensure project is built on budget, on schedule and on drawing specifications; Prepare, adjust and complete job close out procedures.
