Desktop Support Engineer

Desktop Support Engineer - L1

Provide on-site and remote technical support to end users, including executive management and VIPs.

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to Windows and Mac desktop systems, printers, operating systems, and applications.

Install, maintain, and upgrade desktop equipment and associated infrastructure.

Support end users with video conferencing units and mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, Android).

Deliver support for Windows 7/8/OS X, Office 2011/O365, and Microsoft Office suite applications.

Collaborate with Service Desk and other IT teams for break/fix, remote access, and support functions.

Utilize remote support tools (Remote Desktop, Apple Remote Desktop, VNC) for troubleshooting.

Remove viruses and spyware from user devices using various tools.

Consult and instruct users on hardware and software usage and resolve technical issues.

Respond to support requests via phone, email, service tickets, and dispatches, ensuring timely resolution within SLA.

Document, track, and monitor problems and solutions for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.

Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.

Work full time (40 hours/week) on a contract basis in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
