Job Summary Occupational Therapists play a vital role in helping patients regain independence, confidence, and quality of life after illness or injury. Working closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team, you will evaluate needs, develop individualized care plans, and provide hands‑on treatment that supports recovery through every stage of healing. Responsibilities Evaluate each patient’s functional abilities and needs, then develop individualized therapy plans in coordination with physicians and the care team. Deliver skilled, evidence‑based interventions that promote healing, independence, and quality of life through purposeful, compassionate care. Monitor patient progress, adjusting plans as needed, and ensure thorough, timely documentation that reflects quality outcomes. Educate patients and families to build understanding, confidence, and engagement throughout recovery and beyond. Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to ensure seamless transitions of care, safe environments, and exceptional patient experiences. Lead by example—providing guidance to therapy assistants or students and upholding HCA Healthcare’s mission, values, and commitment to excellence. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Occupational Therapist (OT) credential. Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
