CGP: Credit Analyst

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Collections Specialist to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $28.00 to $35.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Contact customers to request payment and address outstanding account balances.
• Review aging reports and prioritize accounts that need immediate attention.
• Work with clients to clarify billing questions and resolve simple disputes.
• Record collection activity and maintain accurate account notes for review.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather information needed to clear unpaid invoices.

• Ability to communicate clearly with customers in a professional and consistent manner.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing account data and payment history.
• Skill in using accounting systems and spreadsheets to monitor balances and record updates.
• Ability to organize daily tasks and manage a steady volume of account follow up.
• Comfort working with sensitive financial information while maintaining discretion.

• Prior experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a similar financial role.
• Familiarity with billing practices and customer account procedures.
• Proven ability to resolve payment issues through steady and patient communication.
• Strong basic math and analytical skills used to review account balances or payment trends.
• A customer service mindset with the ability to remain calm and respectful in challenging situations.
