Join our vision of becoming the world's leading provider of energy solutions for e-mobility.Position Summary:The Maintenance Technician-Mechanical will engage in equipment maintenance to ensure continuous, uninterrupted production operations. This position will be involved with basic and advanced mechanical work as needed and as qualified. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.Roles & Responsibilities:Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environmentPerform responsibilities of conducting corrective and preventative maintenance of production equipment to ensure proper operation of machineryTroubleshoot automation and instrumentation issues on equipment (PLC, AC Drives, HMI, devices, etc.)Communicate directly with the production department to coordinate preventative maintenance as well as review repair work orders and discuss TPM activitiesAssist in training maintenance personnel as requiredAccurately prepare and maintain maintenance-related documents, including work orders, daily reports, etc.Perform other position related duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:High School Diploma or EquivalentMust be 18 years of age or olderMust be eligible to work in the United StatesMinimum 4 years of related experienceWhile travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as requiredAbility to perform the physical demands of a maintenance activitiesBasic maintenance tool understanding and ability to use tools properlyExperience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical system troubleshooting and repairPreferred Qualifications:Advanced knowledge with electricity and electronics Pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting and repairFabrication experienceCAD based software proficiencyRobotics (including end of arm tooling) repair and programming experienceWorking Conditions:Ability to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of timeAbility to work around the potential exposure to dust and chemicalsAbility to wear appropriate PPE as deemed essential for the job functionAbility to lift up to 30 poundsMay be exposed to cleanroom environment, welding, mixing, noise, high temperature, low humidity, air-conditioning, CT Scan, X-Ray, and high-security areas.
