Maintenance - Coolant & Oil Tech (2nd Shift)

Maintenance Coolant / Oil Technician

Reports to: Maintenance Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt; Hourly Schedule(s): Monday - Friday SECOND SHIFT: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm EST

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Check and fill oils.
• Check and fill parts washers.
• Check and fill coolant.
• Maintain proper coolant concentricity.
• Maintain bacteria levels below acceptable levels.
• Maintain PH levels of coolants.
• Work with suppliers to keep inventory of washer, coolant and oils.
• Keep records of coolant and washer concentricity's
• Respond to shift leaders requests for coolant changes
• Coordinate waste water removal
• Perform PMs on Coolant Recycler
• Keep Area of responsibility clean

Physical Requirements:

• Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling and moving items
• Initiating and responding to public address system announcements
• Frequent and regular walking and standing
• Lifting twenty-five (25) pounds or more
• Able to drive forklift and sump truck
