Registered Nurse - Operating Room, Travel in Hanford, CA, US | Start date 06/08/2026 | 13 weeks | $2,143–$2,308 per week | Guaranteed hours: none | Shift: 5x8 Days | Short Term Acute Care Hospital OR assignment

This travel assignment supports perioperative nursing care for a diverse surgical caseload. The selected RN will participate in DaVinci robotic procedures, require Cerner documentation, and collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR staff. California RN licensure with BLS, ACLS, and PALS is required. Epic experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the OR for diverse surgical cases, ensuring patient safety, sterile technique, positioning, and instrument handling.
- Assist with DaVinci robotic-assisted surgeries, including equipment setup, instrument changes, and troubleshooting.
- Prepare sterile fields, position patients, manage instrumentation and supplies, and coordinate with anesthesia and surgical teams.
- Monitor intraoperative patient status, document events in Cerner, ensure accurate counts, and handle specimens as required.
- Participate in scheduled weekend call rotation (every 5–6 weeks) and support patient transfers to postoperative care as assigned.

Requirements
- Active California RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- DaVinci robotic surgery experience
- Cerner EMR experience
- Epic experience a plus
- Ability to work a 5x8 OR schedule with weekend call and travel
