Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PCU Float Pool position in Ohio, requiring telemetry experience, Epic proficiency, and an OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• 13-week contract
• PCU Float Pool position serving a progressive care unit setting
• Estimated patient ratio of 1:3–4
• May be required to float to an adjacent OSU-affiliated facility, approximately a 5–6 minute walk away — no commute required
• May float to units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Telemetry monitoring required
• Epic EMR — experience required

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• IV start skills required
• Telemetry experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference — co-worker references are not accepted

• Local candidates are accepted
• All selected candidates are required to complete Ohio state fingerprinting promptly upon accepting the position — detailed instructions will be provided by the credentialing team
• Former facility employees are eligible for a travel assignment after a minimum 6-month separation from the facility
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract period
