Electrical Inspector

Role Description The Electrical Inspector will perform electrical inspections in accordance with the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code (UCC), ICC and NEC codes. The successful candidate will work closely with contractors, homeowners, municipal officials, and fellow inspectors while representing BHW's commitment to professionalism, responsiveness, and technical expertise. Conduct residential and/or commercial electrical inspections for code compliance. Review electrical installations for compliance with applicable codes and standards. Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation. Submission of work orders to utility companies Communicate inspection findings clearly and professionally to contractors, property owners, and municipal representatives. Provide technical guidance regarding code requirements and corrective actions. Coordinate inspection schedules with permit applicants and municipal clients. Maintain accurate records and timely submission of reports. Attend training and continuing education programs as required. Required Residential and/or Commercial Electrical Inspector ICC Certification Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule. Proficiency with computers, mobile devices, and electronic inspection software. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Compensation is competitive and determined upon experience and qualifications.
