Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ED - Emergency Department \n Discipline: RN \n Start Date: 09/28/2026 \n Duration: 12 weeks \n 36 hours per week \n Shift: 12 hours, nights \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n Title: RN- ED \n Location: Concord North Carolina 28025 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift - 36 Shift Information: 7p - 7a Clinical Interviewing- Yes On Call, Call Back Requirements: None Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays Floating Requirements: Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main Mercy LCH (peds only) could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises About Facility: \n \n 457 licensed beds \n Trauma Level III \n Teaching Hospital \n Chest Pain Center \n Stroke Center of Excellence \n Bariatric Center of Excellence \n Radius rule: Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit \n Unit Information: \n Minimum Years of Experience required: \n \n ED RN: 2 years ED exp (Resource Team) \n Will you accept a first-time traveler: Not preferred but will consider (Resource Team)\n Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: \n \n Trauma level 3 – GSW, Stabbing, MVA, Falls, Stroke, Heart Failure, Chest pain, patient requiring fluid resuscitation/blood products, COPD, Cardiac Cath pre, ETOH/CIWA, IVDA, mental health, Respiratory illnesses, GI Disorders and infections, Liver Failure, AKI/CKD \n Patient Ratios: \n \n RN: 1:5 max (acuity dependent) \n CNA: 1:7 \n Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:\n \n ED RN: Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI; Preferred: TNCC \n Skills required: \n \n ED RN: Trauma experience, Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, conscious sedation, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management, critical care drips, blood administration, etc. \n Support within the Department: \n \n CNA – ratios vary \n Receptionist/HUC \n Charge nurse, 24/7 – may or may not have patients \n IV/VAT Team \n RT, 24/7 \n Hospitalist, 24/7 \n ED Physicians \n Technology/Equipment: \n \n EMR: EPIC \n IV Pump: Alaris \n Med dispensing: Omnicell \n Monitors: Phillips \n Floating: \n \n Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable \n Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, any Freestanding ED within Region, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main Mercy LCH) \n If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock) \n Orientation (facility and unit): \n \n NEO \n 2 days departmental \n Scheduling: \n \n Weekend rotation: every other \n Shift times: 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 3p-3a, 7p-7a \n No call for travelers \n Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays \n RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays – must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours \n Other notes: \n \n Scrub Color: Navy \n Parking: Free \n \n \n ERRN1\n \n TalentBurst, Inc Job ID 26-28206.
