Growing from our humble beginnings with the first Wendy's opened on the West Coast in Fresno, California nearly 50 years ago to 45 restaurants throughout California and counting, Desmond Foods LP, Wendy's of Fresno Inc., Wendy's of Santa Clara Inc., and Peninsula Foods LP are some of the most honored Wendy's franchise organizations.

From the day our founder, Joseph F. Desmond personally signed his first franchise agreement with Wendy's founder Dave Thomas, we have consistently delivered on our mission statement of exceeding our guests' expectations in product, service, and overall dining experience.
