Here, your work truly matters—and so do you.Essential Functions:Delivers direct ABA treatment to clients using prepared intervention and effective strategiesStates ideas for session plans to ensure sufficient variability for client engagement and progressCollects, documents, and reviews information to monitor and inform client progressOrganizes and maintains environment necessary for delivery of effective treatmentReports activities and progress toward meeting essential functions and other identified goals regularly and accuratelyCommunicates and works collaboratively with other staff and attends meetings, as appropriate and assignedFamiliarizes self with most recent research/practice in ABA and early interventionEngages in all required behaviors and upholds responsibilities as outlined by the credentialling authority of the RBT certificatePerforms other duties as assignedPhysical Demands:The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The following positions or frequent movements are typical of the job: sitting, standing, running, bending, reaching, crawling, pushing, pulling, lifting, stooping, kneeling, typing, and walking or moving throughout the office, often for extended periods of the workday.This position requires that an individual be able to learn new tasks quickly and effectively. Job requirements may change frequently. The ability to perform a variety of duties, make judgments, and work under high levels of stress is required. This position is subject to indoor environmental conditions.Expected Schedule:This is a year-round, full-time position. Day and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.Minimum Qualifications:Education and/or training in early childhood issuesAt least one year experience (preferred) delivering ABA services to an autism populationHolds a valid Registered Behavior Technician certificationMinimum High School Diploma/GED, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree preferredEarly Start Denver Model and Precision Teaching experience preferredSuccessful completion of Vista’s crisis intervention training requiredKnowledge and Skills:Implements principles of ABA when supporting individuals with AutismDemonstrates leadership and organizational skillsEffectively manages multiple priorities and deadlinesObjective decision makingAttention to detail for data transfer and other documentation requirementsExcellent communication and conflict resolution skillsApproaches problem solving in positive mannerDemonstrates an understanding of effective teaming
