Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in Fort Myers, Florida. This role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in a hospital setting, with scheduled shifts during the day. The successful candidate will have significant OR experience, particularly in orthopedic procedures, and be capable of working in a fast-paced environment requiring call availability.

Job Details:

• Location: Fort Myers, Florida
• Shift: 12-hour days, Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with call required
• Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Two years of operating room (OR) nursing experience, with a strong focus on orthopedic procedures
  • Active Florida or compact license, verified through Nursys
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
  • Degree accreditation must be on profile or a minimum of five years of relevant experience
  • Prior travel experience preferred
• Additional Information:
  • EMR system in use is Epic
  • Must be flexible for floating to other ORs at sister campuses if needed
  • Radius rule of 50 miles enforced for consideration
  • All demographic information must be uploaded at time of submittal
  • All approved time off requests must be included on the candidate profile at submission
