As the Resident Manager, you will be responsible for handling rent collections, processing tenant applications, managing emergencies, and maintaining the overall condition of the property. You will work closely with residents and staff to ensure a high level of service, compliance, and satisfaction.

Resident relations duties:

The Resident Manager is in charge of rent collections and handling delinquent accounts, move in and move out procedures, handling 3-day notices, completing eviction proceedings when necessary, customer service, monitoring/enforcing all safety procedures, and attending various community functions.

Emergency contact duties:

On-call emergencies including maintenance emergencies, earthquake emergencies, and noise/lease violations. The Resident Manager will be responsible for calling security/police if necessary and completing incident reports.

General office duties include but are not limited to:

• Marketing the development to prospective residents
• Processing rental applications and re-certifications in compliance with regulations and other project program requirements
• Coordinating unit turns/rent ready units
• Assisting in the mediation of tenant disputes and conflicts
• Collecting and depositing rent receipts
• Oversight of the overall condition of the development and coordination of maintenance

Requirements for the Onsite Resident Manager:

• Excellent organization skills, communication, and aptitude for detailed work
• Experience overcoming marketing challenges
• Proficient in Yardi, Work, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience in supervising office and maintenance staff
