The portfolio includes 80 markets with the top-rated television station and 100 markets with the first- and/or second-highest-rated television station in average all-day ratings across 116 such markets measured by Nielsen in 2025. We also own the largest Telemundo Affiliate group with 47 markets and Gray Digital Media, a full-service digital agency offering national and local clients digital marketing strategies with the most advanced digital products and services. KBTX Media operates the CBS and CW affiliates in Bryan-College Station, Texas, serving an 18-county area known as the Brazos Valley. For over 65 years, KBTX has been the ratings leader and dominant choice for local news and entertainment. Our team produces six newscasts each weekday, three each weekend, a breaking news digital channel, and a daily lifestyle show, totaling more than 40 hours of programming each week. KBTX is routinely recognized among the best in the state by organizations including the Associated Press, RTDNA, and the Lone Star EMMY Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. In 2023, the station was honored to receive a National Edward R. Murrow Award, three regional Murrow Awards, a National Gracie Award, and the Texas Association of Broadcasters' Bonner McLane Public Service Award. KBTX is also a recent Texas AP Broadcasters/Freedom of Information Foundation of Texas Station of the Year and Texas Associated Press Broadcasters Station of the Year. KBTX has helped launch the careers of many well-known journalists, meteorologists, and network and production executives, and takes pride in helping talent grow quickly into the nation's largest television markets.

KBTX, the CBS affiliate serving the Bryan/College Station market and home of the Texas A&M Aggies, is looking for a driven and consultative Media Executive to join our sales team. This is a rare chance to represent one of Brazos Valley's most trusted local media brands and to build a high-earning career selling the most powerful multi-platform marketing solutions in the area.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prospect and develop new advertising clients across the Bryan/College Station market using a relentless hunter mentality, cold calls, warm leads, networking, and everything in between.
• Own the full sales cycle from first conversation to close, managing your pipeline with accuracy in our CRM platform.
• Build and present custom multi-platform marketing campaigns tailored to each client's business goals and budget.
• Serve as a trusted marketing consultant, uncovering your clients' real pain points and solving them with data-driven strategies across TV and digital.
• Develop and grow a book of business through strong relationship management and consistent campaign results.
• Collaborate with our creative teams to bring client campaigns to life.
• Meet and exceed monthly revenue goals and budget targets.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of outside sales experience, or a recent college graduate with a strong sales internship, or demonstrated competitive drive
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable personal transportation for out-of-office meetings
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Preferred (not required):

• Media or advertising sales experience
• Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (OTT, SEM, SEO, social, etc.)
• Experience using a CRM platform for pipeline management
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
