Job Description:
We are looking for an Air & Ocean Import Coordinator position. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing airfreight and ocean freight shipments while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in day-to-day tasks. This role requires someone who is self-motivated eager to get the job done and contribute to our success .
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage airfreight and ocean freight shipments
- Work closely with carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations
- Assist with tracking and reporting shipment statuses
- Communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction and troubleshoot any issues
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for shipments
- Learn and grow within the logistics industry, expanding your knowledge and skill set
- Provide pricing quotes
- Review carrier invoices and customer billing for accuracy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred
- Certifications in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional) are a plus but not required
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word) is preferred but not mandatory
- 3-5 years of experience in airfreight and ocean freight operations (required)
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Ability to multi-task
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
