GAS FIREPLACE TECHNICIAN NEEDED

Fireside Distributors is seeking a reliable, experienced Gas Fireplace Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically skilled, and committed to providing excellent customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Diagnose, service and repair gas fireplaces, inserts, logs sets and related equipment.

·         Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, inspections and safety checks.

·         Trouble shoot ignition systems, gas valves, burners, pilot assemblies and venting issues.

·         Install replacement parts and explain completed work to customers.

·         Maintain accurate service records.

·         Follow all manufacturer instructions, local codes and company safety procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Experience servicing gas fireplaces, hearth products or gas appliances.

·         Working knowledge of gas systems, electrical components and mechanical troubleshooting.

·         Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

·         Strong communication and customer service skills.

·         Ability to work independently and safely in customer’s homes.

·         Required licenses or certifications for gas appliance work are a plus.

·         Willingness to complete manufacturer training and obtain additional certification.

·         Own vehicle required.
