Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced GI/Endoscopy RN for a Level 1 Trauma facility on a 13-week travel contract. This role requires strong circulating and teching skills for advanced GI procedures, including EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound), ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), EMR/ESD (Endoscopic Mucosal/Submucosal Resection), Enteroscopy, and Endolumenal Surgery. Responsibilities include managing specialized imaging catheters, ultrasound processors, electrocautery equipment, and assisting with advanced tissue biopsy and polyp removal procedures. Technicians are also responsible for high-level disinfection and reprocessing of complex scopes per SGNA and manufacturer standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of GI/Endoscopy experience
• Must complete a pre-employment questionnaire on GI procedure experience (circulator/tech roles, recent EUS/ERCP case volume)
• Must pass an open-book skills exam during orientation with a minimum score of 90% (failure to pass results in contract termination)
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
