Position Overview:

The CT Technologist is responsible for conducting diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures in accordance with established protocols to aid the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment. Our CT Technologists execute computed tomography (CT) procedures by selecting appropriate exposure factors, algorithms, and scan fields, while considering the patient's age and diagnosis to generate technically precise cross-sectional images that assist the radiologist in their work. You will also engage in complex invasive CT examinations, supporting the Radiologist or Physician's Assistant by employing proper sterile techniques and producing CT images.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Must possess a valid Radiologic Technologist license from the Connecticut Department of Public Health, obtained prior to the start date or job transfer date.
• ARRT CT Advanced certification is required within 12 months of starting the position. Failure to achieve this certification will lead to termination or reassignment from the CT Technologist role.

Education:

• Completion of an accredited Radiography program
