Truck Driver CDL A Solo Regional

Position Overview Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Paris, IL. The role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a stable driving career. Key compensation details: Weekly pay average: $1,694 or more Paid weekly Hours per week: 50 or more Solo Miles Pay: $0.65 per mile (average 1,830 miles) Solo Stops Pay: $22.00 per stop (average 15 stops) Per Diem Pay: $35.00 per night (average 5 nights) Paid training provided Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday Start time: 5:30 am – 4:00 pm dispatch Ryder will train you on all required equipment and provide ongoing support throughout your career. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules. Identify and mitigate safety hazards. Maintain accurate records and logs. Load and unload freight or assist as required by customer. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum 21 years of age. Must possess a valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements. Pass a Ryder drug test. Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last three years. Pass a DOT physical. Pass a Ryder road test. At least 9 months of Class A experience within the past three years, or 2 years experience within the last five years, or 5 years experience within the last ten years. Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions. Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
