Fire Alarm Service Technician

Fire Alarm Service Technician This role reports to the Service Manager and involves daily troubleshooting, on‑site service, and installation duties. The candidate will possess strong communication skills and a customer‑centric focus. Responsibilities include installation, upgrade, service, and maintenance of fire alarm and computer networking equipment. This is a full‑time position that includes on‑call duties. Inspections and programming of alarm fire alarm systems Daily hands‑on field interaction with customers at the site level Working directly in the field, on the most efficient way to solve service issues Proper request of site service equipment needs through Dispatch Customer training as needed Troubleshooting service issues remotely and on site if needed Maintain acceptable and accurate inventory levels by conducting physical inventory counts when advised by management Verify and submit all documentation as per company policies Requirements 5+ years of fire protection experience Must have a Texas FAL or APS FEL (B or A) a plus Safety training OSHA 10 or 30 Be personable and sociable Clean driving record Must have strong written and verbal skills Must be Notifier certified or have been certified Must be proficient in MS Excel, verifier tools, networking, voice systems, and strong computer skills Willingness to work long hours and be on call when needed Compensation & Benefits Hourly based on experience Paid holidays and vacation Company cell phone provided Insurance, health, dental, vision, and supplementary Estimator and Sales This role focuses on estimating and selling projects typically between $20,000 and $2 million in size, installing fire alarm, fire suppression, and mass notification systems in commercial, industrial, governmental, healthcare, utilities, military, and education facilities.
