About the Role

Job Type: Direct hire/Full-Time

Compensation: Up to $90,000 per year depending on experience

Step into a busy job shop where medium to large precision components move from print to finished part under your guidance. As the day begins at 7:00 AM, you’ll review blueprints and work orders, stage tooling, and dial in offsets on a CNC Horizontal Boring Mill—often a Toshiba platform—so production can flow smoothly. You’ll own the setup, run the first article, verify critical features, and keep the work area orderly and safe as you collaborate closely with production and engineering to hit deadlines.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate CNC Horizontal Boring Mills, including Toshiba Horizontal Mills
• Machine medium to large parts to blueprint specifications in a job shop environment
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and machining instructions
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and offsets
• Monitor machining operations to ensure quality and accuracy
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience operating CNC Horizontal Boring Mills (preferred)
• Background with Toshiba Horizontal Mills (strongly preferred)
• Comfort reading prints and verifying parts with precision metrology tools
• Team mindset and urgency to support production and engineering timelines

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Compensation

• Up to $90,000 annually based on experience, machining knowledge, and skill level
