Atlanta is growing, and Farmers Insurance Georgia District 44-14 is being built for that next chapter.

We are seeking an Insurance Sales Representative to join our team! You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue..

Responsibilities

Present and sell insurance products and services to new and existing customers

(We offer Farmers Insurance products as well as: Bristol West, Foremost, Kraft Lake, and Progressive, Safeco and Travelers Insurance products)

• Prospect and contact potential customers
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
• Generate new business: Actively seek new sales opportunities through lead development, networking, and community involvement, and leads provided by us.
• Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest development
• Cross-sell and up-sell: Proactively identify opportunities to sell additional product lines, such as bundling auto and home policies and life insurance
• Meet sales goals: Work with the agent to set and achieve monthly marketing and sales quotas.
• Educate clients: Use a needs-based review process to educate customers and help them choose the right insurance options.
• Build relationships: Establish and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure client retention and loyalty.
• Provide information: Explain policy features, answer product and service questions, and communicate details about coverage and eligibility.

Requirements

• Previous experience in insurance sales
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Licensing: Candidates must have an active General Lines Property Casualty and be willing to obtain the Life Health licenses.
• Communication skills: Strong verbal, written, and listening skills are a must.
• Interpersonal skills: The ability to be people-oriented and relate effectively with customers is required.
• Goal-orientation: A successful track record of meeting sales goals.
• Self-motivation: Sales agents should be driven and able to manage their time effectively.
• Computer skills: Basic computer proficiency is necessary to navigate the required systems.
