Executive Officer

The Rural Development Leadership Network is a national, multicultural social change organization intended to strengthen rural individuals and communities at the same time. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role with an option for remote work. In cooperation with the Executive Director, the Executive Officer will oversee daily operations, develop strategic plans, raise funds, manage budgets, and ensure the organization's mission and goals are met. The plan is for the Executive Officer to become Executive Director after a transition period of approximately three months. Qualifications Excellent leadership and organizational skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Proven experience in fundraising, planning and budget management Knowledge of the rural development sector and U.S. rural communities is a plus Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred -- or equivalent experience Serious candidates, please provide a cover letter, describing commitment to RDLN's mission and including salary requirements.
