Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

• Conduct comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments, including safety and educational needs
• Establish and communicate a collaborative plan of care
• Implement and evaluate care plans based on patient goals
• Complete all documentation according to standards
• Assess patient readiness for education and implement individualized plans
• Participate in department initiatives and projects
• Provide age-appropriate care for the specific population served
• Perform all functions to meet applicable standards and regulations

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Ohio state RN license
• At least 3 years of experience in OB, Postpartum, or L&D
• BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
