EHS SpecialistMid-City Foundry is seeking an EHS Specialist for their Milwaukee and Grafton facilities. This role involves owning the Environmental, Health & Safety function, shaping safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement. Since 1941, Mid-City Foundry has earned a reputation for quality, craftsmanship, and long-term customer partnerships.Position Overview: As the sole EHS Specialist, you'll lead environmental, health, and safety programs across our facilities. Partnering closely with Operations, Quality, HR, and plant leadership, you'll drive compliance, strengthen safety initiatives, support employee well-being, and foster a proactive safety culture. From leading incident investigations and employee training to supporting environmental compliance, workers' compensation, and customer audits, this is a hands-on role where no two days are the same.What You'll Do:Lead environmental, health, and safety programs across two manufacturing facilities.Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DNR, and other applicable regulatory requirements.Conduct incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.Develop and deliver employee safety training and maintain regulatory compliance programs.Partner with HR on workers' compensation, return-to-work, and light-duty programs.Support customer and regulatory audits while driving continuous improvement initiatives.What You'll Bring: Qualified candidates will possess:Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field preferred.Three or more years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or foundry environment.Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry Standards.Experience supporting EPA, DNR, and environmental compliance programs.Experience conducting incident investigations, developing safety programs, and delivering employee training.Knowledge of workers' compensation and return-to-work programs.Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.Valid Wisconsin Driver's License.Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.Why Join Mid-City Foundry?Family-owned foundry with more than 80 years of success.Opportunity to own and shape the organization's EHS function.Partner directly with Operations, Quality, HR, and executive leadership.Diverse responsibilities spanning safety, environmental compliance, training, audits, and continuous improvement.Quarterly performance bonus and comprehensive benefits package.Collaborative, hands-on culture with long-term stability.If you're looking for an opportunity where your expertise will be valued, your ideas will be heard, and your work will have a lasting impact, we'd love to hear from you.We Make it EasyFounded in 1901, MRA is a nonprofit employer association that serves more than 4,000 employers, covering more than one million employees.
