Job Summary and Qualifications Performs routine Nuclear Medicine procedures and produces quality images while applying radiation safety. Verifies physician orders, screens patients for appropriateness of study, educates patients, selects appropriate protocols, and demonstrates ability to problem solve image quality. Provides patient care for a population base of all ages including pediatric through geriatric. Assures the equipment is functioning properly. Prepares radiopharmaceuticals. Coordinates technical work and patient flow. Provides computer-enhanced post-processing of procedure. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and a professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and Medical Staff. May be required to work at Ocala Regional Hospital, West Marion Community Hospital, or The Free Standing Emergency Department.
