Volt is immediately hiring a Painter in Ontario, OH 44906 As a Painter, you will:

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply coatings such as paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to protect and finish surfaces
• Work primarily in a blast booth to remove rust, old paint, and debris from metal parts
• Prepare surfaces using sandpaper, brushes, steel wool, scrapers, or other tools
• Follow work orders and instructions from supervisors to complete jobs accurately
• Ensure surfaces are clean and smooth before painting.
• You'll start working full-time in the blast booth until you're fully trained
• Over time, you'll transition into painting, with a goal of spending no more than 50% of your time blasting
• No prior experience required — we'll train the right person. Must be aware that role is physically demanding.
• The hose has a lot of air/blast media going thew it and the operator must control it.

This is a full-time, contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED
• Resilience (can be a tough job)
• Communication (we understand it's hard, just ask for help)
• Collaboration (the booth is a multiman operation)
• Industrial setting working with metal materials
• Blast booth work requires wearing a full-body enclosed suit with supplied air
• This is a physically demanding role — you'll be handling high-pressure blasting equipment

Pay Range: $19.00 to $21.39 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
