Medical Assistant – Full Time (temp-to-hire)

Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
$18.00 - $20.00 an hour 

We are seeking a dependable and professional Medical Assistant to join our team. This role supports physicians and nurse practitioners by providing excellent patient care and assisting with daily clinical operations.

Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:

• Rooming patients and assisting providers during appointments

• Taking patient calls and responding to questions professionally

• Documenting in EMR and preparing charts

• Ordering labs, diagnostic testing, and performing in-house testing/EKGs

• Assisting with scheduling and patient flow

• Cleaning/disinfecting exam rooms and equipment

• Supporting front desk and clinical staff as needed

• Maintaining HIPAA compliance and professionalism at all times

Qualifications of the  Medical Assistant:

• Medical Assistant certification required (CMA or RMA)

• BLS certification required

• Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking skills

• EMR experience preferred (eClinicalWorks knowledge a plus)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
